Description

The GridLocateCell function finds an instance of a particular grid cell in a set of gridded data points.

The number of data points is given by the argument npnt and the array pointed to by the argument ptr contains the points.

The cell to search for is given by the argument index.

Returns
Returns the index into the array of the gridded data points of the first occurence of the grid cell. If the cell could not be found then npnt is returned.
